A highly effective exfoliator that promotes smoother skin. Lactic Acid 10% + HA is an alpha hydroxy acid solution that effectively exfoliates the skin's surface. It's supported by purified Tasmanian pepperberry extract, which is proven to reduce irritation and sensitivity that can accompany the use of acids. This water-based serum is ideal for dry skin types. The pH of this formula is approximately 3.8. Lactic acid has a pKa of 3.8. The pKa value is the most important aspect in acid formulation. pKa indicates the acid's availability.

When the pKa value is close to the pH value, an ideal balance of salt and acidity exists, maximizing the effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation. This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), which may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun, particularly the risk of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for one week afterward.

We do not recommend combining this product with direct or ethylated vitamin C (LAA/ELAA) in the same treatment. Direct acids, retinoids, peptides, and EUK 134 0.1%.
