Thanks to the blend of Arabica and Robusta beans, you get the best of both organic Fairtrade coffee varieties: During the dark roast, much of the acidity is reduced, so you can look forward to the fruity-sweet notes of the Arabica and the fine crema of the Robusta in your cup.

Our coffee roastery, JJ Darboven, has been offering Fairtrade coffees since 1993 – and was one of the first to consistently support this on a large scale. Fairtrade is not simply a quality seal for us end consumers in Europe. Fairtrade offers real added value to the people in the countries of origin. In addition to improved working conditions and fair wages, they also benefit from Fairtrade premiums. The cooperatives can jointly invest these premiums in social projects or the improvement of infrastructure in the region.
