GRIPPAL COMPLEX DoppelherzPharma contains 2 active ingredients: ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs alleviate the symptoms by relieving pain and lowering fever. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride belongs to a group of drugs called vasoconstrictors. They have a vasoconstrictive effect and thus lead to decongestion of the nasal mucosa. GRIPPAL COMPLEX DoppelherzPharma is used for the symptomatic treatment of swelling of the mucous membranes of the nose and sinuses in the case of a cold with pain associated with a cold and/or fever in adults and adolescents aged 15 and over. You should only take this combination drug if you have both nasal congestion and a headache or fever. If you only have one of the symptoms, talk to your pharmacist or doctor about using either ibuprofen or pseudoephedrine alone. If symptoms worsen or you need the medicine for more than 4 days (adults) or 3 days (adolescents), contact your doctor.
