Gyokuro means "jewel dew" and is the highest quality green tea produced in Japan. Only the most delicate tea leaves are hand-picked and processed according to ancient tradition. Shortly before harvest, the tea is protected from the sun with reed mats. This allows the Gyokuro to develop more sweetness and flavor. A mild, highly aromatic delight.
