Yves Rocher's plant-based cosmetics research has chosen peppermint for its invigorating properties. In La Gacilly, this plant is grown in our Breton fields in an environmentally friendly way according to the principles of agroecology. Every year in summer, we harvest the above-ground parts of the plant and obtain our extract from the leaves and stems of the peppermint using a 100% natural steam distillation process.

For the new Pure Menthe line, the experts from Yves Rocher's plant-based cosmetics research have succeeded in achieving a very high degree of naturalness: the products contain 98% ingredients of natural origin, in some cases even up to 99%.
