The Ordinary Retinols Retinol 1% in Squalane Facial Serum - 30 ml

A highly effective retinol serum that combats the common signs of aging.
Retinol 1% in Squalane is a water-free solution containing 1% retinol, an active ingredient that improves the appearance of fine and dynamic lines caused by the loss of collagen and elastin, while smoothing skin texture and tone. Additionally, this expert formula contains squalane, a naturally occurring hydrator in the skin, which increases surface moisture and helps combat the dryness that can accompany retinol use.

The Ordinary Tip: Start with Retinol 0.2% in Squalane and slowly work your way up to Retinol 0.5% in Squalane and Retinol 1% in Squalane. If you're prone to sensitivity, consider using newer retinoid technologies, such as those in our Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion.

Note: Once opened, this formula should be refrigerated and used within three months.

Caution! Retinoids can make skin more sensitive to UV radiation. Sun protection is especially important when using retinoids. This product should not be used in conjunction with other retinoids, including retinol or retinoic acid. This product is not a treatment for acne.

Note: During pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is recommended to avoid all skincare products containing retinoids, such as formulations with Granactive Retinoid or Retinol.
We do not recommend combining this product with other retinoids in the same regimen. Direct acids, direct or ethylated vitamin C (LAA/ELAA), or "Buffet" + copper peptides 1%.
