An exfoliating toner that targets dullness, texture, and signs of aging. Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is a surface-targeting exfoliator. It helps improve skin clarity, even out uneven skin tone, and correct texture. This formula contains a plant-derived Tasmanian pepperberry derivative, whose color fluctuates seasonally; these color variations may be visible in the formula from time to time.

This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling, or damaged skin. Please refer to the additional sun protection advice and other warnings in the instructions for use.

The pH of this formula is approximately 3.6. Glycolic acid has a pKa of 3.6. The pKa is the most important aspect to consider when formulating acids. pKa refers to the availability of the acid. When the pKa is close to the pH, there is an ideal balance between salt and acid content, maximizing the effectiveness of the acid and reducing irritation.

Caution! This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), which may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and, in particular, the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for one week afterward. We do not recommend combining this product in the same regimen with direct or ethylated vitamin C (LAA/ELAA). Direct acids, retinoids, peptides, and EUK 134 0.1%.
