To differentiate the fragrance, master perfumer Alberto Morillas created a special blend with a structure that does not change from the first application to the skin. To achieve this, Alberto Morillas defined the fragrance with two key notes. He mixed the special leather accord Woodleather™ as a tribute to the house's leatherworking roots and Goldenwood™, a new natural extract from the Nootka cypress.
Alberto Morillas discovered the ingredient under an old glass bell jar in the archives of the Royal Botanical Gardens and selected it exclusively for Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Homme. The resulting scent is characterized by extremely dry woody notes with depth and complexity. Three forms of patchouli oils intensify the fragrance's composition with a sweet, dark and earthy character and vetiver, the fresh and earthy grass from forests.
